Great beaches within reach of most schools in the region, and a program that handles every last detail so teachers can focus entirely on their students.
We’ve been running school surf and beach education programs across New Zealand since 2002. We operate 100+ school groups every year and have an exemplary health and safety record.
We bring a full team of ISA qualified, first aid certified and surf lifesaving awarded instructors to every single day. You just tell us your dates and we do the rest.

Our most popular program and the one most Canterbury schools come back to year after year.
A fully structured day at the beach with students rotating through surfing, beach games and team building, and an optional surf rescue rotation. Up to 99 students managed simultaneously across three groups, with everything set up and ready to go the moment your bus arrives.
From $25 per student | Years 3-13 | Morning, afternoon or weekend sessions | Up to 66 students
A progressive weekly or fortnightly program that runs as part of your school timetable across a term or semester. Students develop real surfing skills and ocean confidence session by session, with the same instructors every week. The consistency is what makes it work. Curriculum-linked with NCEA Level 2 and 3 credit pathways available for senior students.

A single surf session tailored to your group. Perfect as a standalone EOTC trip or combined with other beach activities. Students get a proper lesson from start to finish: beach safety briefing, land drills, in water coaching and riding real waves. For many students this is their first time on a surfboard and their first real connection with the ocean. It’s one of the most memorable days a class can have.
Surfing
Every student gets in the water. Our instructors work with all ability levels, from kids who’ve never seen a surfboard to those who want to push further. The goal is simple: every student learns to surf, rides waves, and walks away with a genuine sense of achievement.
Beach Education
Students learn to read the ocean, understand coastal environments and develop a real respect for the water. It’s practical, engaging and genuinely eye opening for students who’ve grown up near the coast but never really understood it. This is woven naturally into the day.
Beach Games and Team Building
High energy, seriously fun, and more educational than it looks. Our beach activities are designed to build communication, problem solving and team dynamics, students don’t realise how much they’re learning because they’re too busy competing. Adjusted based on age, conditions and the energy of the group on the day.
Surf Rescue
One of the most powerful rotations we run. Students get real, hands on ocean safety experience that goes well beyond a classroom safety talk. Builds leadership, decision making and genuine confidence in the water. Adapted for age and ability.
Canterbury schools are well served. Our operating locations cover the region from north to south and we can work with most coastal settings beyond these if required.
